Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients on the counter.
  • Thinly slice the beef sirloin against the grain.
  • Chop mixed vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
  • Minced the garlic and grated ginger, setting aside in a small bowl.
  • Cook rice according to package instructions, if not prepared ahead.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sliced beef to the pan in a single layer; stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  • Add garlic and ginger; stir for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Mix in mixed vegetables; stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
  • Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil; toss to coat and cook for another 3-4 minutes until beef is cooked and veggies tender-crisp.

Serving

  • Remove from heat; adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
  • Serve over cooked rice or on its own for a low-carb option.
  • Enjoy immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the beef in soy sauce and sesame oil for 30 minutes before cooking. Add vegetables later for extra crunch if desired.
