  • Thinly slice the beef against the grain for tenderness.
  • Wash the vegetables thoroughly and slice the onion, bell peppers, carrots, and snow peas.
  • Mince the garlic and ginger for easy flavor infusion.
  • Prepare the chow mein noodles according to package directions if using dried noodles.

Cooking

  • Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until browned, then remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add the onion, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
