Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Dice the onion and mince the garlic.
  • Wash and slice the bell peppers into strips.
  • Cook your rice if it’s not prepped yet.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat.
  • Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in the onion and garlic, and cook until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the bell peppers, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook until peppers are tender, about 5 minutes.

Serving

  • Spoon the beef and pepper mix over a bed of rice in bowls.
  • Garnish with green onions and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes if desired.

Notes
