Preparation

  • Preheat your grill or air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  • Line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
  • Prepare your BBQ sauce if making homemade.

Cooking

  • Place the salmon fillets on the grill or air fryer basket skin-side down.
  • Brush a generous layer of BBQ sauce over the fillets.
  • Cook for about 10-12 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • During the last few minutes, brush on an additional coat of BBQ sauce.

Serving

  • Remove the salmon from the heat and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  • Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Great reheated, suitable for meal prep. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
