Cooking

  • Place the flatbread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Spread barbecue sauce evenly over the flatbread.
  • Top with shredded chicken and red onions.
  • Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
  • Drizzle with olive oil for extra flavor.
  • Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Serving

  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  • Garnish with chopped cilantro.

Notes

For added texture, toast the flatbread for a few minutes before adding toppings. Use leftover rotisserie chicken for a quick and easy protein source. Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Experiment with different barbecue sauces to find your favorite flavor. For a kick, add sliced jalapeños before baking.
