  • Gather all your ingredients to make the cooking process smooth.
  • Trim any excess fat from the chicken breasts and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • Mince the garlic and set it aside.
  • Prepare a baking dish or pan to cook the chicken, greasing it lightly with olive oil.

Cooking

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • In a bowl, mix balsamic vinegar, honey, and minced garlic together, then pour this mixture over the chicken.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F).

Serving

  • Once out of the oven, let the chicken rest for a few minutes to seal in those juices.
