Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients: roma tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño, avocados, limes, salt, and cilantro.
  • Wash the roma tomatoes, jalapeño, and cilantro under cold water. Pat dry with a clean kitchen towel.
  • Seed and dice the roma tomatoes.
  • Chop the red onion finely.
  • Seed and chop the jalapeño, adjusting the amount based on your heat preference.
  • Peel, core, and dice the avocados.
  • Juice the limes, straining out any seeds.

Assemble

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced roma tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño, and avocado.
  • Add the lime juice and salt to the bowl.
  • Gently fold the ingredients together.
  • Add the chopped cilantro last and fold it in lightly.

Serve

  • Transfer the Avocado Salsa to a serving bowl or serve it directly from the mixing bowl.
