Preparation

  • Start by washing and patting dry the shrimp thoroughly to achieve a crispy exterior.
  • In a bowl, combine the shrimp with olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly coated.
  • Grate the parmesan cheese and set it aside.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Once preheated, place the shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook the shrimp for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • In the last minute of cooking, sprinkle the grated parmesan over the shrimp.
  • Check for doneness; shrimp should be pink and opaque with a slight golden hue.

Serving

  • Carefully remove the basket from the air fryer.
  • Transfer the garlic parmesan shrimp to a serving platter.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
