Preparation

  • Start by thoroughly cleaning your baby portobello mushrooms under running water.
  • Pat them dry with a paper towel, ensuring no moisture remains.
  • Slice the mushrooms into even halves or quarters for uniform cooking.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the mushrooms with olive oil, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper. Toss gently until evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
  • Once preheated, place the mushroom mixture into the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Look for a golden-brown exterior and tender inside as your visual cue for doneness.

Serving

  • Carefully remove the mushrooms from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving dish.
  • Garnish with additional parsley if desired.
  • Serve warm as a side dish or over leafy greens.

Notes
