  • 1 tsp sea salt To enhance flavors

Method

Preparation
  1. Soak the corn in the husk in cold water for 15 minutes to retain moisture.
  2. Melt butter or olive oil and brush generously over each ear of corn.
  3. Sprinkle the spice blend evenly over the corn, coating all sides.
Grilling
  1. For grilled corn with foil: Wrap each ear tightly in foil and grill over medium-high heat for 15–18 minutes, turning occasionally.
  2. For grilled corn without foil: Grill directly on the grates for 10–12 minutes, rotating frequently for even charring.
  3. After grilling, let the corn rest in foil for 5 minutes to complete cooking and retain steam.
Serving
  1. Serve the grilled corn topped with lime crema, cotija cheese, and cilantro as desired.
  2. Experiment with additional toppings like chipotle mayo, herbs, or citrus juice for different flavor profiles.

Notes

Customize your spice blend by adding lime zest or using different herbs. Serve as a side dish or incorporate into salads with grains like farro or quinoa.
